Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. (DECI)
Our Mission StatementDowntown Eau Claire, Inc. (DECI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the development of business, housing, and cultural resources and activities within downtown Eau Claire. DECI BackgroundDECI was founded in January 2002 as a result of Hyett Palma's study "Eau Claire: Downtown Action Agenda" to stimulate our community's downtown. The DECI Board of Directors consists of twenty-one members who represent businesses, neighborhoods, government, and Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) that operate in Downtown Eau Claire. Public meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30am. The DECI 2007 Annual Report, DECI By-Laws, Annual Presentation, and legal & financial documents can also be viewed on the web. (attachments to 2006 tax return.) DECI receives funding assistance from the City of Eau Claire, the Downtown BID, the North Barstow/Medical BID, Water Street BID and through the support of its members.
